Micah’s trip to the ER

I took Micah to the ER today. He has had a cold on and off for the last 6 weeks, and he had fluid in his lungs a few weeks ago. Today he ended up with bronchitis and an ear infection. Poor Micah. But I must admit, Micah is not easy to take to the doctor. He fights them as soon as they come near him. I have to manhandle him so they can look in his ears.  Today they did a chest x-ray because she couldn’t hear through the stethoscope because of his screaming.  So frustrating! He did like one of the women, and he counted to ten while she checked his pulse ox. I was glad to get out of there though. And I'm sure they were glad for us to go.

Blogging

A friend of mine encouraged me to start blogging.  I always wanted to be a writer and lately I have even been doing some press releases, but I have never really written about my life and my family.  I have 3 wonderful kids and a great husband.  Our biggest struggle in life has been our finances, but we have a loving family and a great church family.  I’m going to try to begin to put my thoughts down during the week along with funny stories about my kids and the children I watch.  I often forget to write them down and of course they are soon forgotten.  So maybe this blog will stand as my legacy for my children one day.  I hope they will always know that I love them and how very important they are to me.
